The platform
The plan.
Five priorities. Concrete steps. A serious approach to preparing every Queen Anne's County student for a future shaped by artificial intelligence.
Why this matters
The world is changing faster than our classrooms.
We must prepare students to:
- Tell fact from misinformation
- Recognize bias — in sources and in themselves
- Think independently when a machine offers an easy answer
- Understand A.I. well enough to shape it, not just consume it
Modernize Learning
Bring K-12 curricula into the present. Build critical-thinking and digital-literacy frameworks for the A.I. era — taught in every subject, not siloed into one elective.
Measure What Matters
Move beyond standardized-test myopia. Track how well students reason, write, collaborate, and reach conclusions on their own. Restore depth to assessment.
Invest in Teachers
Pay, train, and trust the educators in our classrooms. Expand professional development for A.I. literacy. Reduce administrative burden so teachers can teach.
Ensure Equity
Every student in Queen Anne's County deserves the same preparation, regardless of zip code, income, or learning profile. Equity in access to technology, support, and opportunity.
Partner with Families
Schools work best when families are heard. Open meetings, accessible leadership, and honest answers — even when answers are hard.
Critical thinking for an A.I. driven future
